Stories through the lens of Danielle

Every space has a story - told by its light, its lines, its materiality and its atmosphere. My aim is to capture not just how a room looks, but how it feels.

Capturing these designs goes beyond simple documentation - it’s about building a visual narrative that expresses mood, design intent and the subtle qualities that make a space meaningful. Favouring natural light, gentle shadows and honest tonalities to create imagery that feels warm, lived-in and editorial.

Past clients value the collaborative approach brought to the table, and the ability to interpret their vision. Every project is approached individually and thoughtfully - balancing technical precision with artistic intuition. The result is imagery that speaks louder than words.

Yellow Italian buildings in the heart of Venice with open windows, laundry hanging on a line, and a blue sky.
Photo of Parisian-style buildings with multiple windows, balconies, and a rooftop garden with tall trees against a gray sky.
Traditional Dutch narrow brick houses along a canal in Amsterdam with trees and bicycles parked outside, during daytime.
The clock tower known as Big Ben over the Palace of Westminster in London, with a blue sky and clouds, and a bridge over the River Thames in the foreground.
Boats docked along a canal in Lake Como with a colourful building in the background, trees in the foreground, and outdoor seating at a restaurant.

A little about me!

Growing up, I was always drawn to design and creative expression. I completed a degree in photography and gained invaluable technical skills, but I felt something was missing - I hadn’t yet found a subject I truly loved photographing. That search led me to begin a second degree in Interior Architecture, and gradually, everything started to fall into place.

In my final year, a holiday to Tasmania became a turning point. The Airbnb I stayed in was extraordinary - I spent the first hour photographing the space, completely absorbed. In that moment, I fell back in love with photography and realised I had found my passion: combining interior design and visual story telling.

My background bridges interior design and photography, giving me duel perspective that deeply shapes my work. Design taught me to understand the structure beneath the surface: the balance of proportion, the rhythm of lines and the dialogue between materials. Photography taught me how light brings those ideas to life - revealing texture, defining form, and shaping atmosphere.

Together, these disciplines allow me to see spaces holistically, and to translate their intention into imagery that feels authentic, thoughtful and visually compelling.

A young woman sits on a stone ledge holding a camera, smiling. She is overlooking Lake Como with mountains in the background, surrounded by pink flowers and green foliage, under a blue sky with some clouds.
A waterfront scene with a boat in the foreground, trees framing the view, a stone wall with benches and a lamppost, and a body of water with distant hills and a few boats.
Close-up of the ancient Roman Colosseum arches and walls, seen from below against a bright blue sky with some clouds.

Design has the power to change how people feel in a space. Photography allows me to preserve that feeling.
I’m continually inspired by the stories you build through form, texture, craftsmanship and light and I feel genuinely honoured to capture them.
